Busy month for New Air. On February 2nd, the band released the videoclip for “Televison Rules The Nation“, the cover of the song by Daft Punk already presented during the web live last December. In a few days the video has exceeded two thousand views, finding a considerable success among listeners.
Only two weeks later, on February 16th, comes the release of the new album by New Air. Breakfast With: it was published on 2419 Record Label’s website, where it’s a free download. It is an innovative album as always, and once again proves the desire shown by the Roman band to make a significant contribution to the European and Italian music scene. Breakfast With: it’s a peculiar disc, in which improvisation plays a key role, and behind which lies a fresh and pure vision of making music and making art. On the website of the label is written with irony: “We’re sorry but structural, harmonic and melodic constraints are off the menu today.” In short, the album is not to be missed.
The first live performance of the new studio was made on February 22nd. The duo – after using it last December 7 – favored again the platform Ustream. During the performance – which lasted about half an hour – New Air improvised some pieces, giving vent to the feelings and emotions of the moment. An intense half hour, almost passionate, that was received very successfuly by the connected users.
