New Air starts 2018 with a change of line up. In fact Andrea “Fungo” Morganti is replaced by pianist and composer Francesco “Dr.’900” Massa.
The duo begins the production of their new EP Animae which, as announced by the two artists, will follow a journey in full Dante’s style starting from Hell, passing through Purgatory and then arriving in Paradise.
On March 17th, through the Italian record label La Stanza Nascosta Records, the single Oblivion is released in collaboration with the rapper Frabolo and the singer Lisa Luperini.
The duo doesn’t stop here and after a few weeks, on April 3rd, releases the EP Animae, in collaboration with two other rappers: Fabio D and Lil’Cla. Animae still holds on to an electronic style (mixed with Ambient, Classic, Deep House and Industrial), but with the ability to shorten the gap towards more mainstream genres such as Pop, Rap and Trap.

The critics evaluate Animae as “a very good proof of character” for the band.
At the same time the EP is included in about 40 playlists on Spotify, while the single “Oblivion” is broadcast daily on over 63 Italian broadcasters.
At the beginning of June the duo is interviewed by Radio Rossellini during the Music On program.

I New Air iniziano il 2018 con un cambio di line up. Infatti al posto di Andrea “Fungo” Morganti subentra il pianista e compositore Francesco “Dr.’900” Massa.
Il duo inizia così la produzione del suo nuovo EP Animae, che come annunciato dai due artisti, seguirà un viaggio in pieno stile dantesco partendo dall’Inferno, passando per il Purgatorio e giungendo poi in Paradiso.

Animae si mostra così al pubblico, mantenendo sempre uno stile elettronico (mixato ad Ambient, Classica, Deep House e Industrial), ma con la capacità di unirsi anche a generi più mainstream come il Pop, il Rap e la Trap.
